Alishan Sharafu stands as one of the most promising young talents in UAE cricket, a right-handed batting all-rounder who has transformed from a Kerala-born teenager into an international cricket sensation. Born in Kanhangad, Kerala, India in 2003, Sharafu has undergone a remarkable journey from childhood cricket dreams inspired by India's 2011 World Cup victory to becoming a cornerstone of UAE's national cricket ambitions. At just 22 years old, he has already captained his country at the Under-19 World Cup, earned central contracts, and secured a coveted spot with the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders in the prestigious International League T20.
Sharafu's cricket journey began during childhood visits to Kerala, where India's triumphant 2011 Cricket World Cup campaign ignited his professional ambitions.
